Glastonbury
I have been so busy with work that I actually started doubting that I would find the time to write a blog about all the things I am doing. Glastonbury festival was amazing, I worked around 100 hours this week and got all off 28 hours sleep all week as this place is too amazing not to go see after work.
In my first blog you saw pictures of saw pictures of the festival store as ideally it should look, neat tidy and most importantly green. Unfortunatly in good old cloudy England that is not often the case.
It poured down like crazy on three of the days and created total mayhem and foot deep mud which absolutlely destroyed our stall. Here some pictures of the situations that the whole festival was having to endure
This rain and terrible weather was followed by the hottest day in England for about 3 years.
Although festivals in general are more enjoyable when its dry every single person there working or visiting still has loads of fun. Glastonbury however is brilliant anyday.
Got to watch cee lo green among many others.

It Begins
So the journey begins, I am working here in the canteen of Stenden University, Bali on the last day of my practical week. All exams done and dusted, with a 22 hour journey in front of the the hopefully sunny England.
What lies ahead of me is a series of adventures and experiences from one green field to another all over England.
Yes working music festivals can be one hell of an expirience with many ups and downs, lots of hard long days, and crazy fun nights. This is my holiday from my studies and i will be talking about what happens to me during the course of the summer working 13 of the biggest music festivals all over the U.K.
Just some info about myself and what i will be doing. My name is Pascal Dieng, I have lived in Bali Indonesia for most of my life and absolutely love it here i am now finishing my second year of university at Stenden Bali, and for the last three summers i have been working for the "Loud Festival Store" which is one of the oldest and best known market stalls on the circuit. They specialize in hats, clothing, jewellery and accessories. My jobs consists of 3 things building stalls, working at them selling hats and warehousing.
My boss is a crazy workaholic who drives us to work crazy hours and at times under extreme conditions... but hey its all part of the job.
All i truly know at this point is that i will arrive at Heathrow airport at 7 am. tomorrow morning and am heading straight to Finnsbury North London to build the stall and work the London Feis Festiva by myself before heading to the biggest and best "GLASTONBURY"
